Kentucky High School Soccer - Rowan County knocks off Boyd County
August 15, 2024: Ashland, KY 41102 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) and the host Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY), saw Rowan County's soccer squad knock off Boyd County by a count of 3-0.
The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
Next up, the Lions confront the Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 17. Boyd County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Red Devils enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY).
