August 15, 2024: Holly Ridge, NC 28445 Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Dixon advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC) to clash with the Monarchs in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 20. The Monarchs come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Bears now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Laney for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 27.
