Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC) and the host Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC), observed T.C. Roberson's volleyball team hold off Polk County by a count of 2-1.

The Rams (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.

Next, the Wolverines meet the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 20. Polk County will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
