August 15, 2024: Ramona, OK 74061 The Caney Valley Trojans triumphed over the visiting Mounds Golden Eagles softball squad by a count of 12-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans meet the Chelsea Dragons (Chelsea, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 17. Caney Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Sequoyah (Claremore, OK).
The Golden Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Oklahoma Union (South Coffeyville, OK). The Cougars enter the 2A challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Oklahoma Union was routed by Chelsea (Chelsea, OK), 5-4, in a non-league challenge.
