August 15, 2024: Nowata, OK 74048 The Caney Valley Trojans triumphed over the host Nowata Ironmen softball squad by a count of 13-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans meet the Chelsea Dragons (Chelsea, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 17. Caney Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Sequoyah (Claremore, OK).
The Ironmen (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Oklahoma Union (South Coffeyville, OK). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Oklahoma Union overcame Sequoyah (Claremore, OK), 5-3, in a non-league challenge.
