In Friday's non-league game, the Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA) football team overcame the host Inglewood Sentinels (Inglewood, CA), by a final score of 20-12.

With the win, Los Alamitos advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Griffins travel to Kapolei (Kapolei, HI) to encounter the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Friday, August 22. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Kapolei won 52-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lahainaluna (Lahaina, HI)

The Sentinels now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central East for a non-league contest on Friday, August 22.
