Georgia High School Football - Lowndes prevails Jenkins

August 15, 2025: Valdosta, GA 31601

In Friday's non-league match, the host Lowndes Vikings football team scored a nice 43-20 win over the Jenkins Warriors.

In their next game, the Vikings play the Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 22. Lowndes will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 37-11 non-league loss to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA).

With the defeat, Jenkins drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Groves (Garden City, GA) to face the Rebels in a AAA Region 3 challenge on Friday, August 29. The Rebels go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
