August 15, 2025: Sioux Falls, SD 57107 The Roosevelt Rough Riders soccer squad scored 8 points and held the host Jefferson Cavaliers to 1 in the Rough Riders non-league victory on Friday.
The Rough Riders now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Pierre T.F. Riggs for a game on Tuesday, August 19. Roosevelt will face a Governors team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Brookings (Brookings, SD). The Governors record now stands at 2-0.
The Cavaliers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Aberdeen Central was overwhelmed by Pierre T.F. Riggs (Pierre, SD), 3-1, in a non-league bout.
