August 15, 2025: Edgewood, KY 41017 The Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY), 5-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Colonels now hold a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Paul Laurence Dunbar for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 16. Dixie Heights will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Bryan Station moves to 2-1 on the year. The Defenders travel to Sayre (Lexington, KY) to encounter the Spartans in a District 42 challenge on Tuesday, August 19.
