Ohio High School Soccer - Orange toppled by Solon
August 15, 2025: Solon, OH 44139 Solon Comets (Solon, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Orange Lions (Pepper Pike, OH), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Solon advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Comets host Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 19. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Gilmour Academy lost 6-3 in their recent non-league test against Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH)
The Lions now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tallmadge for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 19.
