Oklahoma High School Softball - Oktaha sneaks past Kansas
August 15, 2025: Oktaha, OK 74450 In Friday's non-league match, the host Oktaha Tigers softball team scored a tight 4-3 win over the Kansas Comets.
The Tigers (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Caney Valley (Ramona, OK). The Trojans come into the 2A match with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Caney Valley was edged by Pawhuska (Pawhuska, OK), 11-2, in a non-league game.
The Comets now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Grove for a non-league game on Saturday, August 16. Kansas will play a Ridgerunners squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Hulbert (Hulbert, OK). The Ridgerunners record now stands at 3-1.
