Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Alamance Christian Warriors (Graham, NC) and the host River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC), observed Alamance Christian's volleyball team top River Mill by a tally of 3-1.

The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Faith Christian (Ramseur, NC). The Eagles enter the NCCSA AA District 2 - West Region contest with a 0-1 record.

Next, the Jaguars meet the Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC) in a Central Tar Heel 1A test, on Tuesday, August 19. River Mill will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
