The St. Joseph Jayhawks volleyball squad (Ogden, UT), was edged 2-1 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Cyprus Pirates (Magna, UT)

With the win, Cyprus improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Dixie (St. George, UT) to meet the Flyers in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 16. The Flyers enter the contest with a record of 0-3. Dixie lost 3-2 in their recent league contest against Snow Canyon (St. George, UT)
