Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars face the Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 17. Apex will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Capitals enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Green Level (Cary, NC).
