Georgia High School Softball - Pepperell bounces Rome
August 16, 2022: Lindale, GA 30147 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA) and the visiting Rome Wolves (Rome, GA), witnessed Pepperell's softball squad prevail over Rome by a count of 13-1.
The Dragons now sport a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Murray County for a non-league match on Monday, August 22. Pepperell will meet a Indians squad coming off a 10-1 league loss to Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA). The Indians record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Rome moves to 0-7 on the season. The Wolves travel to Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Wednesday, August 17. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 4-4. Chapel Hill won 8-0 in their recent league match against Midtown (Atlanta, GA)
