August 16, 2023: Elon, NC 27244 The Western Alamance Warriors volleyball squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Southeast Guilford Falcons to 0 in the Warriors non-league win on Wednesday.
With the win, Western Alamance upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Warriors host Grimsley (Greensboro, NC) to play the Whirlies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 22. The Whirlies go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Falcons now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Dudley for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 17. Southeast Guilford will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
