August 16, 2023: Hazard, KY 41701 Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Morgan County Cougars (West Liberty, KY), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Commodores clash with the Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 17. Perry County Central will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Black Bears come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY).
With the loss, Morgan County drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to East Carter (Grayson, KY) to clash with the Raiders in a District 62 match on Thursday, August 17. The Raiders come into the match with a record of 1-0. East Carter won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Rose Hill Christian (Ashland, KY)
