August 16, 2024: Pearson, GA 31642 The Atkinson County Rebels football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Georgia Military College Bulldogs to 16 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Friday.
The Rebels now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Baconton Charter for a non-league test on Friday, August 23. Atkinson County will meet a Blazers squad coming off a 35-13 non-league loss to Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA). The Blazers record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Georgia Military College drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Crawford County (Roberta, GA) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, August 23. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-1. Crawford County lost 34-20 in their recent non-league test against Pike County (Zebulon, GA)
