August 16, 2024: Vienna, GA 31092 The Spencer Greenwave football squad scored 2 points and limited the host Dooly County Bobcats to 0 in the Greenwave non-league triumph on Friday.
The Greenwave now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carver for a AA Region 1 test on Friday, August 23. Spencer will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 20-13 non-league win over Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Dooly County drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Mitchell County (Camilla, GA) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, August 23. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-0. Mitchell County won 41-27 in their recent non-league test against Lanier County (Lakeland, GA)
