Utah High School Football - Hunter thwarted by Green Canyon

August 16, 2024: West Valley City, UT 84120

Green Canyon Wolves (North Logan, UT) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Hunter Wolverines (West Valley City, UT), 27-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Green Canyon improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wolves host Stansbury (Stansbury Park, UT) to play the Stallions in a non-league battle on Friday, August 23. The Stallions go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Stansbury won 13-9 in their recent non-league battle against Snow Canyon (St. George, UT)

The Wolverines now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Clearfield for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 22. Hunter will play a Falcons team coming off a 41-15 non-league loss to Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.
