California High School Volleyball - Churchill County tips Mammoth

August 16, 2024: Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) and the host Mammoth Huskies (Mammoth Lakes, CA), observed Churchill County's volleyball team hold off Mammoth by a count of 2-1.

The Greenwave (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Carson (Carson City, NV). The Senators enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Carson got by Lowry (Winnemucca, NV), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Huskies confront the McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 17. Mammoth will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Lancers enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Tonopah (Tonopah, NV).
