The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO) and the host Cherry Creek Bruins (Greenwood Village, CO), saw Horizon's flag football team gain a win over Cherry Creek by a final score of 24-14.

With the win, Horizon advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hawks travel to Rock Canyon (Highlands Ranch, CO) to encounter the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 26. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Bruins now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Ralston Valley for a non-league bout on Monday, August 18. Cherry Creek will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 42-0 non-league win over Golden (Golden, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
