With the win, Sequoyah improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Chiefs host Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA) to meet the Raiders in a battle on Thursday, August 28. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 1-0.
The Hurricanes now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holy Innocents Episcopal for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 19.
