Medina, OH — The Brecksville-Broadview Heights varsity Bees kicked off their season in spectacular fashion with a commanding 5-1 victory over the Medina Highland Hornets.
The Bees struck early, taking a 2-1 lead into halftime before exploding for three more goals in the second half to secure the win. Luka Zivkovic led the charge with two goals, both coming from penalty kicks, while Zane Altaqi netted two stunning goals to add to the Bees’ tally. Otto Grieser also found the back of the net to round out the scoring. The Hornets’ lone goal came on a breakaway in the first half.
