August 16, 2025: Millbury, OH 43447 Lake Flyers (Millbury, OH) backers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Pettisville Blackbirds (Pettisville, OH), 8-0 in a non-league bout.
The Flyers now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Van Buren for a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 20. Lake will play a Black Knights squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Ottawa Hills (Toledo, OH). The Black Knights record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Pettisville moves to 0-1 on the year. The Blackbirds host Evergreen (Metamora, OH) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 21.
