August 16, 2025: Abilene, TX 79603 Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Midland improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Randall (Amarillo, TX) to face the Raiders in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 19. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 3-3. Randall lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Weiss (Pflugerville, TX)
The Eagles now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Clyde for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 16. Abilene will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Snyder (Snyder, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.
