Altamont Longhorns (Altamont, UT) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Manila Mustangs (Manila, UT), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Altamont improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Duchesne (Duchesne, UT) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 19. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Tabiona Tigers (Tabiona, UT) in a 1A Region 22 challenge, on Friday, August 22. Manila will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over South Summit (Kamas, UT).
