The Batavia Bulldogs volleyball squad (Batavia, OH), was edged 3-2 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Franklin Wildcats (Franklin, OH)

With the win, Franklin improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Preble Shawnee (Camden, OH) to battle the Arrows in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 19. The Arrows go into the test with a record of 0-1. Preble Shawnee lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Twin Valley South (West Alexandria, OH)

The Bulldogs now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Healthy for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 18.
