Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Hatley Tigers (Amory, MS) and the visiting Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS), saw Hatley's volleyball squad notch a victory over Biggersville by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Hatley improves its record to 4-4 on the season. The Tigers host South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS) to face the Cougars in a non-league test on Monday, August 18. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 3-5. South Pontotoc won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Heritage Academy (Columbus, MS)
