The Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech Griffins (Elizabeth City, NC) volleyball held off the visiting Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Griffins now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Gates County for a non-league bout on Monday, August 18. Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech will clash with a Red Barons team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Red Barons record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Ridgecroft drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC) to battle the Spartans in a NCISAA Coastal Independent match on Tuesday, August 19.
