August 17, 2023: Salisbury, NC 28146 The East Rowan Mustangs football team (Salisbury, NC), was beaten 22-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC)
The Cavaliers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Forest Hills was beaten by Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC), 20-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host North Stanly for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 24. East Rowan will meet a Comets team coming off a 22-18 non-league loss to Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Comets record now stands at 0-1.
