Indiana High School Soccer - West Lafayette held off by Speedway
August 17, 2023: Speedway, IN 46224 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Speedway Sparkplugs (Speedway, IN) and the visiting West Lafayette Red Devils (West Lafayette, IN), saw Speedway's soccer squad get by West Lafayette by a margin of 2-1.
The Sparkplugs now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Ben Davis for a non-league test on Thursday, September 7.
With the loss, West Lafayette drops to 2-1 on the season. The Red devils host Tri-West Hendricks (Lizton, IN) to meet the Bruins in a non-league test on Saturday, August 19. The Bruins come into the test with a record of 0-2. Tri-West Hendricks lost 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Ben Davis (Indianapolis, IN)
