August 17, 2023: Eatonton, GA 31024 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA) and the visiting Greene County Tigers (Greensboro, GA), saw Putnam County's volleyball squad nip Greene County by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Putnam County upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The War Eagles host Davidson Fine Arts (Augusta, GA) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 22. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Davidson Fine Arts won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Harlem (Harlem, GA)
The Tigers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Aquinas for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31.
