August 17, 2023: Rocky Point, NC 28457 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) and the host Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC), saw Laney's volleyball squad beat Heide Trask by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Laney upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Pender (Burgaw, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Monday, August 21. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 1-1.
