Oklahoma High School Softball - Allen holds off Colbert
August 17, 2023: Allen, OK 74825 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Allen Mustangs (Allen, OK) and the visiting Colbert Leopards (Colbert, OK), witnessed Allen's softball squad tip Colbert by a count of 11-9.
The Mustangs now sport a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Holdenville for a non-league match on Monday, August 21. Allen will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Skiatook (Skiatook, OK). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-13.
With the loss, Colbert moves to 0-6 on the season. The Leopards host Bennington (Bennington, OK) to meet the Bears in a non-league match on Monday, August 21. The Bears go into the match with a record of 1-6. Bennington won 20-0 in their recent non-league match against Boswell (Boswell, OK)
