Georgia High School Softball - Deerfield-Windsor bounces Brookwood
August 17, 2023: Albany, GA 31707 Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA) and the visiting Brookwood Warriors (Thomasville, GA), witnessed Deerfield-Windsor's softball squad prevail over Brookwood by a count of 13-2.
The Knights now sport a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Southland Academy for a GIAA 3AAA match on Tuesday, August 22. Deerfield-Windsor will face a Raiders squad coming off a 16-7 non-league loss to Gatewood (Eatonton, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Brookwood moves to 0-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Westwood (Camilla, GA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Monday, August 21. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 1-1.
