California High School Volleyball - Chavez can't hold off San Fernando
August 17, 2023: San Fernando, CA 91340 In Thursday's non-league battle, the host San Fernando Tigers volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Chavez Eagles.
The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Northridge Academy (Northridge, CA). The Pumas come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Northridge Academy nudged Hollywood (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers (Granada Hills, CA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, August 21. Chavez will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Vipers come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Central City Value (Los Angeles, CA).
