Mississippi High School Volleyball - Forest edged by Kemper County
August 17, 2023: DeKalb, MS 39328 The Kemper County Wildcats held off the visiting Forest Bearcats volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Wildcats now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Philadelphia for a Class 2 Region 5 test on Tuesday, August 22. Kemper County will confront a Tornadoes team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Newton (Newton, MS). The Tornadoes record now stands at 0-1.
The Bearcats (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Newton (Newton, MS). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Newton held off Philadelphia (Philadelphia, MS), 3-0, in a league test.
