August 17, 2024: El Reno, OK 73036 El Reno Indians (El Reno, OK) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish (Oklahoma City, OK), 4-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, El Reno improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Indians travel to Leedey (Leedey, OK) to face the Bison in a non-league game on Monday, August 19. The Bison enter the game with a record of 2-2. Leedey won 6-2 in their recent league game against Canute (Canute, OK)
The Fighting Irish now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Classen SAS for a 4A District 4 game on Saturday, August 17. Bishop McGuinness will face a Comets squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Del City (Del City, OK). The Comets record now stands at 0-4.
