Georgia High School Softball - East Coweta bounces Creekview
August 17, 2024: Canton, GA 30115 The East Coweta Indians softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Creekview Grizzlies to 2 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, East Coweta upgrades its record to 8-0 on the year. The Indians travel to Alexander (Douglasville, GA) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Monday, August 19. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 5-3. Alexander lost 1-0 in their recent league game against South Paulding (Douglasville, GA)
The Grizzlies now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lassiter for a 5A Region 6 game on Tuesday, August 20. Creekview will play a Trojans squad coming off a 13-12 non-league loss to Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-3.
