In Saturday's non-league match, the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) volleyball squad tipped the host Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Cavaliers battle the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, August 19. East Burke will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Newton-Conover (Newton, NC).
