With the win, Walnut advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Fullerton (Fullerton, CA) to face the Indians in a non-league test on Saturday, August 17. The Indians go into the test with a record of 1-1. Fullerton lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Tustin (Tustin, CA)
The Tillers now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Garden Grove for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 20. Tustin will face a Argonauts squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Alliance Bloomfield (Huntington Park, CA). The Argonauts record now stands at 1-3.
