The Lexington Catholic Knights volleyball team (Lexington, KY), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Burgin Bulldogs (Burgin, KY)

The Bulldogs (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Jaguars enter the District 46 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, East Jessamine went down by Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Coming up next, the Knights play the Henry County Wildcats (New Castle, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, August 21. Lexington Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Trimble County (Bedford, KY).
