Trinity Christian Academy Lions (Jackson, TN) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host South Gibson Hornets (Medina, TN), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions confront the Munford Cougars (Munford, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 23. Trinity Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Dyersburg (Dyersburg, TN).

The Hornets now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences for a non-league test on Friday, August 19.
