August 18, 2022: Mooresville, NC 28115 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) and the host Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC), saw Myers Park's soccer squad triumph over Pine Lake Prep by a margin of 7-0.
The Mustangs now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Rabun Gap-Nacoochee for a non-league test on Saturday, August 20. Myers Park will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Pine Lake Prep drops to 0-1 on the season. The Pride host Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC) to meet the Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, August 20. The Knights come into the test with a record of 0-1. Gray Stone Day lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC)
