The Porter Ridge Pirates topped the visiting Central Academy Cougars volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Pirates now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Cabarrus for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 23. Porter Ridge will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-1.

The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Stallions enter the non-league test with a 1-1 record.
