The Corvian Community Cardinals volleyball team (Charlotte, NC), went down 3-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC)

The Hornets (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record.

Next, the Cardinals encounter the Apprentice Academy Red Wolves (Monroe, NC) in a Metro Eight 1A challenge, on Wednesday, August 24. Corvian Community will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
