The Pirates now have a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salado for a non-league game on Friday, August 19. Poth will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Hutto (Hutto, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-11.
The Knights (2-10) will now prepare for their game against East View (Georgetown, TX). The Patriots enter the non-league game with a 9-5 record. In their last game, East View was nudged by Cedar Ridge (Round Rock, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
