August 18, 2022: Lillington, NC 27546

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Eagles face the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, August 22. Western Harnett will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC).

With the loss, Lee County moves to 1-2 on the year. The Yellow jackets host Triton (Erwin, NC) to face the Hawks in a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 23.
