The St. Clairsville Red Devils football team (St. Clairsville, OH), was tipped 42-40 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Canton South Wildcats (Canton, OH)

The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Dover (Dover, OH). The Crimson Tornadoes come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Dover was tipped by Green (Uniontown, OH), 14-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Red Devils now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Martins Ferry for a Ohio Valley AAAA challenge on Friday, August 25. St. Clairsville will meet a Purple Riders team coming off a 39-36 non-league win over Shadyside (Shadyside, OH). The Purple Riders record now stands at 1-0.
